  • Each tour includes a free State of Hawaii official "I Hiked Diamond Head" certificate, a $2.50 value.
  • Tours are at 7:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and walk-ups are also available for any time between 7:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
  • Optional: Add $1.50 for disposable ear buds.

Diamond Head State Monument is the third largest attraction on Oahu, with approximately one million hikers annually. Conveniently located near Waikiki, it provides visitors a fun Hawaiian outdoor adventure. Hikers are rewarded when they get to the summit of Diamond Head with breathtaking and spectacular views of Oahu.

Open 365 days a year, the Visitor Center is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the park is open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The last hike is at 1:30 p.m. (There are only 78 parking spaces within Diamond Head crater. To avoid the busy morning period, you may want to consider going in the slower afternoon period between noon and 6 p.m.)
